Born and raised in Mission, Texas, Attorney Orlando Mercado is grateful to be a Mexican-American citizen. He dedicated himself to the academics and was able to graduate from La Joya Senior High in 2008 with honors.
In 2012 he graduated from the University of Texas but he knew that he still wanted to pursue a higher education – law school. Mr. Mercado graduated from The University of Houston Law Center in 2016 obtaining juris doctorate and then successfully passed the bar in 2017.
Upon being licensed in the State of Texas, he moved back down to the Rio Grande Valley and started working as a prosecutor for the State of Texas in Hidalgo County. After a year of being an assistant district attorney, he decided to open up his own practice and help out clients on a personal level.
